2nd of July- So today was a train day! We were a little hungover and very tired:( We got a pain au chocolat and some coffee which was the best we've had on the trip then hopped on the train. I happened to fall asleep and woke to 4 French police men standing at the door of our cabin with my handbag. Through the terribly broken English and even worse French, between us we figured out that someone had came into the cabin when I was asleep and had taken my handbag from beside me and ran off the train suspiciously. They found it in the toilet! I was absolutely devastated but soon realised my phone, passport, interail pass and bag was still there and that it was only my purse and phone charger that was gone. After a little cry and a phone call to mum and the bank to cancel my card I was fine. To make myself feel better, I went a walk round the train to see if he had grabbed the money and just thrown my actual purse and stuff. Luckily, I found everything other than my money in the bucket in the toilet. Yay!

We got to Barcelona and tried to walk to the hostel. Stupid idea as it was 34 degrees and a 40 minute walk with bags! We ended up getting a taxi half way. Our hostel is on the main shopping street which is awesome cause it's close to the main square and Las Ramblas which is a massive street with stalls and loads of shops as well. So after a wee nap there was a knock on the door and Liam was there!! The best surprise ever! He was disappointed that I didn't cry but I was very close! Haha! So after all the catch ups, we went for a wee walk to investigate. We saw the beach and headed to a nice resterant and had some nachos and a 2 litre pump of beer (photo to follow). After a lovely walk home in the sun, we headed to bed to get ready for the day of walking and exploring the next day!
