Long story short.

Costa Rica is very expensive. Panama is to. After talking to some travellers, I've decided to shake things up drastically from my original plan and spend my last two weeks in the region in places I really, really want to go.

I'm in San Jose Airport now after a hot sweaty bus ride from Cahuita. I've got four hours of temperamental wi-fi and annoying Americans before boarding my flight... to somewhere close...
