IT'S ALL OVER NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO At least I'll finally be able to have Indian food. As in Indian Subcontinent food, not 'Amer-indian food - tortillas'. It's a rather glum day in San Jose. Miserable, cloudy, drizzly, yeah, an anticlimax really. But at least I probably had the best week travelling I've ever had around Guatemala - sure my arse got thoroughly remoulded by the long journeys but every other day was a spectacular, mind-blowing destination. So...

The journey back from Guatemala to Costa Rica was a little bit difficult. First, I undertook one of the bizarrest transactions I've ever done - taking out 500 Quetzales of an ATM in Guatemala City Airport, then exchanging 400 of it for American Dollars, and 100 for Mexican Pesos. The flight was late (as in, it was on time, but late in the day) adding to just how knackered I was on making it to San Jose. What followed was a stressy attempt to try find my transfer...

So... Long story short. Costa Rica is very expensive. Panama is to. After talking to some travellers, I've decided to shake things up drastically from my original plan and spend my last two weeks in the region in places I really, really want to go. I'm in San Jose Airport now after a hot sweaty bus ride from Cahuita. I've got four hours of temperamental wi-fi and annoying Americans before boarding my flight... to somewhere close... Vamos!

Last day in Costa Rica today and its been very...chill. The day's been a bit of a wash out as the heavy thunderstorm has rolled off the Caribbean to drench the town of Cahuita meaning I've been left with time to catch up on rest before a hectic final couple of weeks in Central America.
