Today was a fairly quiet day - planning our next days before heading to Paris on Sunday.
We began the day by having a big breakfast before heading to the travel agent to work out our plans. We have booked 2 days in Prague, followed by two days in Amsterdam, before heading to Paris on Sunday.
Following booking the remainder of this week, we went to Picadilly Circus to see if we could get some tickets to a show tonight. We managed to get tickets to a musical called Dreamboats and Petticoats - it turned out to be a good musical - based around the music of the 60's which we both enjoyed.
We travelled to Notting Hill for lunch and had a look around the Portobello Markets and the scene of where they filmed the movie Notting Hill - which was based around Portobello Road.
Before going to the show, we caught up with Nige and Brett again for the last time at a place called Gordon's Wine Bar - quite a nice place for a pre show drink or two. We managed to knock over 3 bottles of wine before the show so it got us into the mood for the show!!
It was great catching up with Nige and Brett again to have one final drink with them before leaving London town.
We enjoyed the show and following the show we had a quick bite to eat, returned to our hotel and had one last drink at the bar, before heading upstairs to begin packing for our trip tomorrow.
We have enjoyed our time in London - eventhough we have hardly had time to see all of the things to see and do here, but it is time to move on.
The highlight for me was definitely going to the Football with Brett on Saturday, whilst for Nadeen it was the amount of attractions to see around this place, combined with the number of tourists, as well as the architecture of the whole city.
Hopefully we may be able to return one day!!!
It is now time to pack as we have an early flight tomorrow to go to Prague and we have to catch a train to Heathrow in the morning - again, we have been very impressed with the underground train system over here - it really is the only way to get around.
