Started our walk around the city this morning and have already hit the shops!!!
We stumbled across a local market in 6th Avenue and Nadeen bought a beanie and a scarf as well as a top and I bought the NYPD top - you have to do the tourist thing...
Have found some amazing suit shops where you can buy 3 suits for $350!!!!
I think I will be heading back there.
The streets are really busy with people everywhere but you just accept that as well as the traffic - it all makes up this City.
This afternoon we took a bike tour around Central Park with our "driver" Ali from Malee - he was very informative and entertaining. The bike tour took about an hour and took in most of the sites of Central Park with the highlight for me being Strawberry Fields and the John Lennon memorial.
At night time here you need to walk around with a beanie, jacket and gloves. The weather is a bit fresh after about 4pm. Nadeen is glad she borrowed Cheryl's gloves!!!

After the tour around Central Park we went out for dinner at a classic Italian Restaurant called Patsys - real authentic Italian food - with some classic pictures of the various celebraties that have eaten there over the years.
After dinner we went to a local Irish Bar for a couple of drinks.
Visited Times Square again and still cannot get over the number of people in this City as well as the number of food stalls - one practically on every corner selling hot dogs, pretzels and kebabs - you would never go hungry over here. You can get 2 slices of pizza and a soft drink for $2.25....
We are going to try our luck on the subway tomorrow.....
