Up early today and headed straight to the airport. A quick cab ride, no problem checking in our luggage or getting through security and here we are waiting for our flight to New York. A late start to the day today due to the late night last night. We walked the strip to find somewhere to eat and we ended up having a buffet lunch and then caught the bus north to the shopping outlets - but not before the mandatory playing the ponies and having a couple of drinks.... After shopping back to the Strip and another stop at yet another Casino - have lost count of how many casinos we have been in - an in everyone we have had at least one drink!!!! Y...

Up and about early today for our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon with a company called Heli USA. Picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport where we had a quick safety demonstration before getting on the helicopter. It was a fairly new chopper so no problems about taking off. They fly for about half an hour out to the start of the Grand Canyon then land and re- fuel before taking off again. You then fly through the Grand Canyon itself - spectacular!! ...

We were a bit slow out of the blocks today - not sure why..... It might have had something to do with those "free" drinks from last night.... Anyway a walk up the strip with a combination of a shopping tour and a casino crawl and we were as good as new. There are hawkers and spruikers everywhere here trying to get you to go on tours, to go to clubs etc - freebies on offer everywhere.
