Arriving at Otres Beach is like arriving at paradise, I am staying at Footprints, on the far end of the beach, it's right on the sand and away from all the craziness of the other beaches here.

While staying here I meet Kelly and Lucy from Wales, and we head off on a boat trip around the islands. We do a cliff jump which turned out to be totally terrifying, but I did it for which I am very proud of myself as I have turned into a considerable scaredy cat recently. We also do some snorkelling, unsuccessful fishing and have a BBQ on the beach. Apart from getting my first sunburn of my trip, it was an amazing day.

On Saturdays they have what is called the Otres Market, which is basically a pop up bar with live music and DJs on a street near the beach. It has been a great stay here, lots of relaxing, so now it is time to head into town and try diving, let's see how it goes…
