hey guys, i've been doing nothing for a month now in laos so it's time to get back to doing and seeing stuff in thailand. i came into thailand from laos with a canadian guy called kevin. we had to stay in this small city close to the lao boarder for a few hours before getting the over night bus back to the zoo, aka bangkok. this time in bangkok was much better than the first time because i knew what to expect... utter chaos!!! we spent the morning running around bangkok trying to sort out kevin's flight back home, but after that we were drinking again! there's not a great deal more to do in bangkok other than look at a few temples, shop and drink yourself silly (there probably is alot more to do but i haven't found it yet) so we decided to hit the beer and play pool for the rest of the day. i managed to bump into a guy from weston who i met in mongolia and went to beijing with called gar on khao san road. before we knew it there was a load of us playing pool and having a good old jolly up. not much more to report for that night other than getting completely hammerd and wanting to find a hole to die in the next morning. the second afternoon i went wondering up and down khao san road and a few other places around that area and did a bit of shopping. couple of t-shirts and a couple of pairs of shorts later and i was spent. only one thing for it... back on the beer! i met gar in the bar we were at the night before. again i met some more people that i had seen before, namely the three dutch girls that i met in vang vieng, laos (if your reading this girls sorry for not replying to your messages but i will from now on). gar also met some people from before and we all got smashed together. i didn't even make it to sleep that night and had to get on the bus to kho chang feeling worse than s***e! nevermind, i'll get rid of the hangover by lying on a beach! speak to you all soon. christopher.
