hello there, just a quick one on singapore because it's mostly shopping and drinking. had a great time, alot better than i thought i would because i was just expecting shopping mall after shopping mall, and in some places it is like that other places were really nice. i did spend a day walking up and down the shopping district of singapore, orchard road, which was knackering. it took me at least a couple of hours to just walk one side, addmitidly there were a few stops on the way for a quick half of shandy in a few of the street cafes where all the pretty and rich people of singapore hangout. i also went to the only island resort of singapore, sentosa, to see friends of mother and fathers. had a really nice day, and i didn't pay for a thing! del and keith if your reading this thanks for a great day and for looking after me so well. also managed to fit in a singapore sling, thanks keith, your a good drinking partner. other than that i checked out how the other half live in and around raffels place. the car park of the fullerton hotel, farrari, bentley, farrari, bentley and so on and so on. some really nice buildings around there but that's about it. if any of you go to singapore you have to stay in little india. this place is great. so colorful and the people are great, foods really nice and bloody cheep as well! i had some really good nights out in little india which ment i had some really rough mornings. went out one night with an english lad and i got chatting to a english guy who lives between singapore and phuket in thailand. he didn't let us buy a drink all night. not the smartist idea to invite 2 english fellas to an all you can drink beer session. we had a boat load, and the guy who bought us the drinks was legless before he knew it. also had a night out in an indian club with an english guy and a german girl, we were the only westeners in the club and because of that we got treated like kings and queens. everyone was getting us up to dance and some even bought us drinks. crackin'!!! time to get on a plane now and head for the island parridise that is bali. think i'm going to try and learn how to surf there and no doubt make an ass of myself doing it. only a month in indonesia and then onto australia to get back to work and try and get some pennies back. b*****!!
