Got ourselves down to Mission Beach, found a nice campsite right on the beach (even better because the guy who ran it didn't care, so we didn't pay!!!). Got confused when a local asked if I was watching the footie later - went through about 5 sports before getting to Rugby League. Back again!!!! Been a while we know, errrr sorry. Plane touched down in Cairns & it was still sunny!! Hurrah Found ourselves a nice little backpackers 10 minutes walk from the city centre with a free bus taking us to free meals & cheap (briefly) drinks.
