Hi there friends!

Well this weekend I have got plenty of time to write my Blog as the weather is rainy and I am not on any trips this weekend, booo!

Work is getting crazy busy at the moment as the new project is really getting into the swing of things. Its definately good as I am learning loads of new things, but can be quite stressful as there is so much to do whilst learning. I am working with a great bunch of people! The thing I found frustrating when I came to the Philippines is that it takes so long to get anything done, everyone is so laid back, but now I have learned to appreciate the chilled atmosphere and loving it.

Last weekend I went to the beach, it was a private beach and we had to pretend to want to buy condos that are being built. As you can see from the pictures, the beach was gorgeous, white sand, blue sky, clear waters. The only downside was that there was jellyfish in the sea so we couldnt do any swimming, it was lucky there was a swimming pool to use! I think the highlight was also the trip over on the boat, which included games and Kareoke, not what you want to heat at 7,30 in the morning though.

Also made a trip to the cinema last weekend to see Fast Five, loved it! Great film. To be honest I had not realised that they had made that many films. Pirates is also out, cant believe the shot a 4th one, I need to see it though as they shot part of it where I used to go on my family summer holidays.

Last night was another big night out, went to the RnB club Republic for someones leaving do. Great night, didnt get there till 12.30, and we arrived back home as the sun was coming up and the morning joggers were out. I think I would have been very hungover had we not spend about an hour in McDonalds where I demolished a chicken nugget meal. Yes, this is after I said I was not going to eat Mcdonalds whilst in the Philippines. Ah well, when drinking, McDonalds is the only way to go!I have spent most the day watching television and obviously sleeping. :) Its very humid at the moment, so feeling very lethargic.

I have also got quite a few trips planned for June so watch out for some more photos and crazy stories, I will be venturing to the party island of Boracay and also Cebu the weekend after that! I cant wait, just hope the weather gets a bit better.
