Hey All!

Its the end of week for of my Philippino adventure and I am frantically writing this on sunday morning as the removal men are here, yes one hour earlier. When I said to the guy you are earlier, he said my boss told me to come early, I mean what if I had been in the shower!

Anyways I have experienced the true Philippino love this week as I went on a team night out to the Kareoke, or Vidoeke as they like to call it here. A few cocktails later I was belting out the likes of Journey - Don't Stop Believing and Total Eclipse of the Heart. I think a great night was had by all and I am sure I will be going back again in the future.

So yes, I am moving flats today. I am moving closer to work so I won't need to get a cab, I am not sure when I will have the internet sorted there so I wanted to make sure I got my post in now. The place I am moving to is lovely, several pools and nice bits of grass, its like a complex. I will take some photos when I get there so you can all see it :).

This weekend I also took my first trip to Greenhills, this is place famous for its fake goods, there is everything from clothes to handbags to shoes. Its crazy, though the only thing I ended up buying was some mosquito coils so that I don't get bugs in my new flat as it is ground floor. Also, I was with a local, I think its best as you know you won't be getting ripped off. I also went to Salcedo Market which is much like Legaspi village market that I have been to on my previous weekends, but this one is more food and less crafts and clothes etc.

Oh and there is another place which has dvds and games and all sorts, though I am not sure how legal they are ;). It was an experience nonetheless. I am sure I will be making many more trips to Greenhills in the future!

Ok so the removal guys are just making an inventory of all my things, so I will have to be off soon. Hopefully I will be able to get a post up next weekend, as long as the internet is sorted (which given how slow things are here I doubt).

It was a crazy week at work as we have a project deadline but I think all went well in the end. Oh and I forgot to say - Krispie Kreme doughnuts are 45 Piso here! OMG - you know thats like 60p, and thats how much you would pay for your normal generic doughnut from Sainsbury. Crazy heh, though I plan on going on a diet next week so not sure how that is going to go.

I joined fitness first too, there are so many classes, haven't managed to get there yet because of work but I figure thats ok as the first month is free. Its not quite like good old Bannatynes but its the only one with classes near where I live. I am also thinking of taking up Pole dancing, more on that next week if I end up going.
