So after a 16 hour flight, two delays, a missing volunteer and a 7 hour time difference, I am finally sitting in the room at a hostel in which I have to share a bed with my partner because they dont have enough beds! haha

Anyway, the flight itself was horrible! We had turbulance all through both flights so I didnt sleep a wink! On the plus side the Movie and Tv on the plane was AMAZING! And for those who know me, you'll know how happy I was when I tell you that DIVERGENT was a film on the flight!! :D RESULT!

So after seeing Heathrow, Hong Kong and Beijing airport for the first time, its fair to say I dont think airports could get any bigger! We walked from one end to the other in Hong Kong which took us about 20 minutes! Crazy!

So firts impressions - Beijing is HUMID! and I do not mean that in a good way! Its sticky and I must have sweated at least half my body weight in the few hours i've been here! Not nice! Its busy as hell! Like majorly busy, I dont think i've seen so many people walk around in the same place at the same time! Its alot buisier than I thought it would be! On the plus side the food is amazing! Our Rep Mike took us out for food and we had a bangquet where we could eat whatver was coming round on a lazy suzanne! The drinks here are pretty amazing! I got to try Bluberry juice, which was lush! The buildings here are magnificent! Huge and all flashing with Neon Lights! The hostel is pretty nice too :)

So at the moment, apart from being tired and it being friday already, it's been a good few hours in Beijing! Tomorrow we start our 8 day induction around Beijing, so I'll keep you posted on that and ill be sure to post lots of photos!
