Well what can I say!! We have driven down through Mission Beach stayed the night there, thought it would be so fab to have a nice chilled day sunbating there but were gutted to wake up to the sound of rain!!!! So we left there and headed south not having a clue where we were going. After a few hours of driving we reliased that a small crack on the windscreen had got bigger so we had to do a detour and get it replaced!!! The place was in Townsville which was a lovely wee place, wuite sophisticated well of what I seen of it!!!! Dont quote me for those of you who may have been hahaha. Went to a night market there which was cool oh and even got stopped and breathalised one night!!! Everyone drink drives over here except me luckily!!!!!!

From there we headed to Magnetic Island on the ferry, im getting really brave now with my boat trips hahaha!!! We spent the day on the Island on the beaches, me and Laura done some water sports which were fab, see pics!!! Also going to add a video too, what a laugh!!! We seen some Koalas in the wild too which was so cool. There was a baby which looked like a tiny cuddly toy!!! After a baking hot day I woke up the following morning with swollen eyes, id burnt them!!! What a beauty!!!

After there we had a 5 hour drive to Airlie Beach where I am now, luckily me and Laura shared the drive. It was quite disdappointing here really as you build a place up in your head and it wasnt what I imagined. Got a fab camp site though so going to chill here for a few days before our sail of the Whitsundays on Wednesday. Like the other sites we are surrounded by wildlife!!! Its the norm to share a shower with a lizard or ten hahaha. Met up with Paul again here which was good, enjoyed a meal out woo hoo no beans on toast for one night!!!!! Had a day at the Lagoon here which was nice, catching more rays is always good, although the Ozzie are good at reminding us of the skin cancer risk!! They barely go out in it!!!!! Looking forward to the sailing trip on Wednesday, got the sea sickness tablets at the ready hahaha.

Well the trip was good although not as good as our trip last week. Whitehaven Beach was amazing, the sand was gorgeous, we had a full body exfoliation as seemingly the sands just fabby!! Skins baby soft hahaha. Done some more snorkelling although just wasnt a patch on the area of the reef we seen the week before!! Laura had a waterproof case for a camera and I put mine in although oooops it didnt work and im now without a camera AGAIN!!! Gutted! Looking rather red after a full day at sea, you just dont realise your catching it or how hot it actually is!!!!! Got a long drive ahead of us tomorrow, oh the joys!!!
