Well well well!!! This has to be the most testing time of my life so far haha. We left Surfers and headed on the bus to Byron. We arrived and were met at the bus station by a group of random people who were staff from the various hostels/hotels!! All looking like travellers themselves. We jumped into a van and headed to the hostel. When we arrived we were given our keys and our sheets and furry blanket which we had to pay for or go cold, to make up our beds!!! This was to be our home for 4 nights!!! Our room had three sets of bunk beds! So who would be our roomies??? We got out of there as soon as possible to explore and if you had been there you would have wanted to get out of there too!!!! The place was nice and chilled but with the festival starting in a few days we knew this wouldnt last long!! and we were sooo right!!!! The place was mad, so busy and there was soon rubbish everywhere!! You had to queue for hours to eat or for a drink at a bar, total madness!!!

We spent our first night with numerous layers on trying to sleep as it was so cold!! I had on three pairs of PJ's a pair of tights, two pair of socks and a hoody and also a pair of knee length cargo shorts!!! We didnt think we would awaken lol. There response in the morning when we moaned was this is the coldest week in the year we just deal with it!!!!!! We love the Aussies more every minute NOT!!!!! We got more lovely furry, hairy blankets and headed back to our room!! The following night was a bit better!! However we were wakened by the sound of a key in the door and in wanders a random guy!! Who just stared blankely!!!! He ended up being a twenty year old German guy!! We had booked an all female dorm so another grumble!!!!! Thankfully we had a blast at the festival on the saturday had lots to drink and enjoyed the tunes!!! We even got lots of wear out of our lovely UGG boots which are now knackered lol. Oh meant to mention the fact that we sneaked in some vino which we stached down our skirts!! Lets just say we had JLO bums!!!! The Saturday night was horrendous!! We hardly slept, people kicking our door etc!!! So we decided wed check out the sunday!! There response to the kicking on the doors by the way was oh its festival time things like that happen!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! They also said we had caused them nothing but hassle hmmm we only asked for blankets and advised of noise!!! Needless to say we never looked back. We missed the second day of Spendour but it was worth it!!!

We got a bus to Ballina which was a small village where we found a gorgeous Inn which only cost us 60 per night between the three of us. We had a lovely chilled few days. I had a well deserved facial and hair cut!!!! This travelling stuff doesnt do much for your looks!!!!!hahaha. We left Ballina on the 5th and flew to Sydney, an hours flight.
