We spent a couple of days in Melaka just chilling out and visiting some of the historical sights. We stayed nearby to the town square and everythings within walking distance from there. We went to St Pauls Church, chapel on the Hill which had wonderful views out to se and the town below. The buildings around the town square, the bell tower and the town hall ar eall of typical Dutch colonial architecture and are port red in colour. Apparently they painted them from white to red as the mud stained them. Not much else to say really as we were very lazy and it was so hot! You don't want to hear about the shopping we did!
