Said our tearful goodbyes this morning at 7:30 a.m. and headed out to Grafton, Ohio. Don't know a sole here it's just our rest shop. After a day of pretty good weather, it rained a little, we pulled into the R V park at 5:45 p.m.. Though we share driving it's still a long day and to be honest Pete drives most of the time. We traveled through Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania. We saw Lake Erie and the famed Erie Canal. I'm amazed you go a few hundred miles and leave the beautiful, green forest to see flat plains and absolutely no mountains. What a country! Tomorrow is another long day. We are going from Ohio to St. Louis, Missouri about 500 miles. We need to make it to Kansas so I can catch a flight home to see my beautiful daughter graduate college. I'll leave on Wednesday and rejoin Pete in Kansas on Friday while he visits relatives. Need to get some sleep...love and miss you all
