Another long day on the road but we are here and settled in at the R.V. park in Granite City, Illinois. We had breakfast at Bob Evans in Grafton, Ohio and lunch at Bob Evans in a city we don't recall the name of...Pete is BBQing tonite...as you can see we are not going hungry! My highlight of the day was this huge cross on the side of the road where highways 57 & 70 meet...it's called "Cross at the Crossroads" and is the largest cross in the world, 198 feet tall and 113 feet wide...it was amazing. Will tell you more about it when we get home. It is warm here about 87 so we have the air on and are getting ready to watch "Battlestar Galacttica". I look especially cute tonite wearing Pete's shorts (which I barely fit in to) and an attractive pink skull shirt...just imagine. LOL Tomorrow we're on to Wichita, Kansas to visit with Jim, a relative of Pete's.
