Hi guys...we are in Carbondale, Colorado without any internet or cell service. We are traveling Aspen right now so I'm typing as Pete drives. Got caught in a little snowstorm yesterday...of course I was scared so closed my eyes and prayed; Pete just kept rolling along and we made it through. The KOA we are at is beautiful... Crystal river is our backdoor. Went exploring today through Snowmass and Maroon Bells. Maroon Bells are a 14,000 feet mountain range,red in color, bell like in shape that early explorers used as a landmark and henceforth gave them their name. They are absolutely magnificent. Snow topped peaks, mile high trees in green and yellow and blazing red-purple rocks. There is Maroon River which reflects all of the above and is surrounded in wildflowers. This is truly Gods country...thank you Lord. We are in Colorado until Friday then on to Utah. Missing my stilettos, hope Toto is enjoying them! Miss and love you all
