After being in seaside towns for a while it's a change to be back in a city again,but there's lots more going on. Today is Brisbane's annual Seafood festival,which doesnt sound so exciting in itself,but is actually a huge date on the calendar and a big lively festival,and it is about 2 minutes walk from my hostel!I wandered down there this pm as my taxi driver had tipped me off that it as going on and the street was packed,and there were stalls,entertainers and lots of funny outfits. There was also a stage at the fair end so wandered down to it and about 10mins later Russell Crowe and his band appeared...they were surprisingly good,and despite a tropical rain storm in the middle of their set it was good fun!(photos will arrive as soon as find somewhere that lets me load them...)I've come back to shelter from the rain but I'm told the party continues into the night,so I may return. Tomorrow I'm exploring the city before heading off to Byron Bay in the evening. Lots of love xxxxxxx
