A very early start to today as we ventured along the Great Ocean Road. Although a little way away, once you reach the road you drive right next to the coast with a beautiful view over the ocean. After about 4hours of beautiful scenery we reached the famous Twelve Apostles, and the less well known blow hole,thunder cave, and other impressive landforms along the stretch of coast. Today we got up nice and early and walked to the Melbourne Botanical gardens. Despite not being so warm it was a lovely sunny day,and the garden looked beautiful. We then walked across to the shrine for Victorian soldiers who have fought in the first and second world wars. Today I ventured up the Dandegong mountain ranges with Vicky and her family. Luckily it was a nice warm day so even though we were in the mountains it was still really nice and warm =) We visited a park where the Roselles (pretty red and blue parrot-like birds) flock down when you arrive.
