Charly's Travel Journal
Decided to explore Coffs Harbour first thing this morning so I could work out how to spend my day and stumbled across a porpoise pool with an interactive show where you could stroke dolphins, and couldnt resist!(my inner child....dolphins were my absolute 'favouritist' animals when i was little, like a lot of little girls)The show was pretty impressive, but the best bits were getting to feed seals and tiny little fairy penguins, playing catch with the dolphins, stroking their tummys and tickling their tongues(!),and getting kisses from the seals and the dolphins.very very cute. After I'd finished playing with the animals, I headed off towards the harbour and walked around the harbour and along the beach which was lovely, and actually reminded me a little of Cornwall (only a bit warmer...) In the afternoon I walked up onto a local island,a widlife reserve for some of australias rarest birds. Most of the birds had already migrated, but it was a very pretty walk!Tonight is my last journey on the Greyhound buses, as I travel to Sydney!
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
