Week 15- Singapore Day 4
Today we got up and it was pouring with rain so we thought it was going to affect our days plan! We had breakfast downstairs and the rain just got worse, we didn't really know what to do. Luckily, after our showers it had stopped so we got our rain macs on and headed out.

We went to Suntosa which is where Universal studios, the water park and main places like that are. There is also a (man made) beach! We got a free bus as part of our open top tour package, so we headed to Suntec city. We arrived really early for the bus and had about 45 minutes to spare so we decided to have a look around the shops... Bad mistake!! H&M were having a massive sale and we might have bought a few things ready for Oz! Although, we didn't go crazy and it was all essential (warm) clothes.

Once finally on the bus it took just over an hour to get there. It all seemed pretty cool but we didn't plan to go into any of the main places as we were told it's not worth the money! So we had a wonder round, took some photos then headed on a different bus to check out the beach... We were the least Impressed! The Singaporeans complained to their government that they wanted a beach so one was built, however, about 10 metres out to sea there are lots of oil rigs so no-one actually gets in the water and it isn't the prettiest of beaches! Nevertheless, we sat and had our lunch on the beach and watched a few people come down a massive zip wire.

We then got the bus back to Suntec city and went to Bugis village. We both want to buy some boots ready for Oz but we had no luck! We will try elsewhere before we leave (there are plenty of shops)! We had dinner at the hawkers market again tonight but it was possibly the worst meal we have had since travelling! We had chicken noodles but it was basically like super noodles in dish water... Yummy!
