Week 20- Australia (Brisbane) Day 6
Eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk another early start today to head down to Brisbane to pick mum up. I was so excited it felt like Christmas. We got ready had breakfast said our goodbyes and hit the road. I wasn't allowed to drive as I was far to excited and probably would have got a few speeding tickets along the way. After a super long drive due to some traffic too we finally arrived at the airport just as mums plane was landing. Waiting for her to come out if the get was gruelling but luckily she dint keep me waiting for very long. We had a overdue long cuddle and i got a bit emosh. Was so good to finally see her after 4 and a bit months. The longest we have ever been apart.

We jumped back in the car and headed to the hostel, we dropped all our stuff in and brad and char dropped our hire car back. Me and mum had quality catch up time with a cuppa on the rooftop. When the guys got back we had a big of lunch then chilled for the rest of the afternoon. We introduced mum to the tea and tim tam experience, she was a big fan.

We then thought we would start our 3 wk adventure as we mean to carry on and went and had a few cocktails and shots during happy hour at the bar next door. Char had a mojito, mum had a broken down golf cart, brad had a jug of br and then a Moscow mule and I had a passion fruit margarita. We then decided to have a shot each to celebrate...... Char had a starburst, mum had surfer on acid, brad had a B52 and I had a Jamaican coffee something.... Wow. We all were abit peckish so we die used it was dinner time, we made a prawn and chorizo linguine. Char managed to set herself on fire as well and burnt brads jumper. The meal however was lovely. We then had a early night and got ready for the zoo tomorrow. We are all pretty excited for the zoo :)
