Well well well, what an adventure we have had these past few days, we have def had the experience of the outback! here goes....... We did a nightwalk in the rainforest in Cape Trib, we turned all the spot lights off and just listened to all the wildlife around us, and enjoyed looking at the stars above us. We went out on a dive boat yesterday from Port Douglas. I did a couple of dives and then some snorkelling with Lou. The dives were really good, I saw a white tip reef shark on each dive and loads of Clown Fish, Barracuda, Trumpet Fish, etc. On the dive that I missed while I was snorkelling they swa a turtle. We hired a boat on the river in Cairns yesterday with a couple of Germans, a French guy and a Dutch guy. We took a picnic and a load of beers and managed to finish them all off between us. we did a bit of fishing and most of us caught a few. In Cairns now and we have been very busy seeing the sites over the past few days. We went up into the Atherton Tablelands yesterday and saw about half a dozen waterfalls, gorges and volcanic craters. We went rafting on the Tully River yesterday and we both really enjoyed it. We went on rapids up to grade 4 so they were pretty big. We spent about 5 hours on the water and got to swim down a couple of the rapids as well. Lou has got bruises down her legs today from where she hit some rocks on the way down. You are supposed to keep your legs up and go feet first so you can see where you are going and so you don't hit any rocks. We also got to jump off one of the ...
