Day 8 of our European adventure
Athens, Greece was part of our excursion today! Left the boat early this am as we had a lot to cover! We went to the acropolis first on our guided tour! What amazing views from the top! Saw the aereopagus or mars hill as our guide called it! Almost missed our bus as we left the acropolis because the guide didn't wait long enough where she said she would wait! We then enjoyed the beauty of the scenery of Greece as we headed toward the Corinth canal! The water in the Corinth canal was a beautiful emerald green! After our stop there we had a buffet luncheon at a hotel on the beach! Once again the scenery was awesome however I wasn't too impressed with the food! I did find some good chocolate mousse that I enjoyed!
