I am now quite a few days behiond with the blog, have got caught up in all the stuff going on so will be brief.

We arrived in Lupbuir the Monkey city with low expectations, we had been told not to stay for too long very dull place... So we get taken to what we think is our guest house, which turns out to be an office, its a long story but we ended up staying in the office soon to be a guest house where Al and I shared the single most awful bed known to man... whcih was not helped by the screaming moneks outside our window! So far not so good, next day we are given a bike tour around the place still not great, although the monkeys were cool!

Get back to the Office/home and look around the local market, very nice buy a top. We decide to go to mountain cave and temple and Jack and his whole family decide that they will join us. Very sterange car jounrey with a Karoke machine in side it, bizzar. We get to the temple it is amazing and we get blessed by a monk, see all these bats in a cave and then have a lovely fresh meal on t\a floating raft on the lake. It was awesome, then gert a call from the monks saying that we shoukd come back to the temple as the bats are all leaving the caves, about 10, 000 of them. I stupidly stood under them and got bat wee all over me nice, no one wanted to sit next to me on the joureny home.

Will try and add photos of this soon, that night got over night train to Chaing Mai where I managed to leave my bag on the train! Oops...
