We have been in Koh Tao for 8 days in total and this has been my favourite part of the trip to date. Over the last 6 day Alex and I have been completing our Open Water and Advanced Diving course. We started out in the swimming pool with all of our gear on playing games and finding out how everything worked. Next step the sea, I am not going to pretend that I wasn't slightly hesitant, because I was, especially as there had been shark sightings in the previous days...

The blog says Koh Tao but I am in fact updating the journal from leaving Vietnam.... Going to keep it brief as a lot has happened! We left Na Trang on the Night bus, pretty crazy form of transport beds on a coach, with a driver who beeps his horn the whole night and plays loud music and also thinks the road is a race track....thought we were going to fall off the edge of the road throughout the night, all the way to Ho Chi Min City. We got there early, about 6am ...
