Sawadee ka Thailand!

I have made it! After all the months of planning and dreaming, I have made it to Thailand! My point of entry was the small town/city of Krabi on the west coast of Thailand South peninsula. Immigration at the airport was really simple and speedy. Going in by air I got my 30 days as opposed to 15 days over land. Primarily it is an access point for the Islands koh phi phi and koh lanta. However I did spend a couple of nights here either side of my time on the Islands.

Krabi itself doesn't have much however if you venture out there is a beautiful tiger temple on the hill and gorgeous boat tours around small islands nearby. Great for snorkelling. I however made the most of Krabi's amazing night markets and street food!!! Fresh fruit, noodle soup, pad Thai... I was spoilt for choice. Another positive aspect of the town was my hostel. Slightly pricey but worth every penny is the Pak Up hostel. Hands down the most comfortable beds yet. The linen and towels smell of soft perfume and the bar is really social. Perfect for my stopover before heading out to koh phi phi :)
