The past few days have all seemed to roll into one! Thursday was really wet so Clive and I watched 'The Worlds Fastest Indian' and just chilled out. Friday we went for tea to the local pub which was yummy!
On Saturday morning Clive and I headed into dome valley armed with machetes again to cut some more of the mountain bike route. We then headed out for a walk along the coastline in Mangawhai which took us up lots of steps and gradually brought us back in a loop along the beach. Later on in the evening Becky, some of her friends and I went to a BBQ for a friends birthday. We watched the All Blacks game and after that headed to Beckys in the city for a girls night in!
This morning we headed out on a bit of a history trip to Davenport (a NZ Navy base) then onto North Cote which is covered in tunnels that have been used by the military in the war. We then went down to the Navy Museum where we found the dressing up area and then went on to have a good look around.
I have just packed up my things ready to set off on my trip in the morning! I'm pretty nervous but excited too! Ill be in touch when I can be! :) xx
