On Wednesday we got up and on the bus for 0830! Finally heading out of Auckland to Hot Water Beach which is on the coramandel. We went for a walk down onto the beach at Cathedral Cove which is where some of The Chronicles of Narnia (Prince Casbian) was filmed- gorgeous!
After that we went down onto the beach near our hostel area and we dug our own hot water pools to chill in. The warm water is caused by a strip of hot lava under the sand in a particular area.. It heats the water and causes steam to build up. It was an awesome experience!
Just sat chilling listening to music in a group outside... Early start tomorrow!
