This morning we moved back to Khao San road and then went on a tour around the city, local style. After a 7hr journey to Luang Prabang with a moody moon bear (Vaugh) in tow we arrived at 4pm. On the way we stopped at a view point and had lunch. Drove 6 hours to reach Vientiane and had lunch at Joma cafe (South East Asian Starbucks!) and then embarked upon a bike (seriously dodgy bikes) tour around the city taking in the Arc (see pic), Pha That Luang and the local market. Having arrived in Hue early afternoon we went for lunch at the Mandarin Cafe and were then picked up from the hotel for a motorbike tour. Our moto tour was one of the best experiences of our whole trip. It took in a small scale incense and hat making factory, ancient tombs, the demilitarised zone, animal fighting arena, national pagoda and the paddy fields. Arrived at Nha Trang, checked in, had breakfast and slept. We got up and spent the day by the pool which was great to lie and do nothing. That evening we went for dinner at Ciao Vietnam where we had amazing chocolate mousse!!
