Thursday morning we took the public bus to Sihanoukville where we arrived at 2pm to find that we were staying in bungalows a few minutes walk away from the beach. We spent the afternoon on the beach and then had a bbq dinner on the beach where we had a power cut half way through the evening and a massive storm hit the beach. The next day we were up early and left Bangkok by minibus and arrived at the thai/ cambodian border around lunchtime. Having crossed the border we boarded another bus and drove for five hours to siam reap. The following day we left at 5am to see angkor wat at sunrise which was lovely although there were a lot of mosquitos!!
