5am (yawn :0 pretty tired at this point) took the coach earlier than normal due to the May Day rallies that were starting the next day. We drove and queued until we reached Kathmandu and then visited the monkey temple, it was not great and Helen and I have developed a bit of a monkey phobia as they seem to be rather aggressive and tend to steal things! On to the hotel where we then went to namaste cafe for really good veggie burgers and then had a well needed nap...

So after leaving Chitwan early in the morning we drove for 7 hours to reach Pokhara at around 2pm. We all took a walk along the main street and down to the lake which could be seen from our hotel. We took a turn into a german bakery and sampled the produce yum! Then later in the afternoon we booked to go paragliding and to take the mountain flight in Kathmandu to see Everest. We had dinner in a local restaurant and then crashed out for the evening in preperation ...

Having left at 6am and boarded a coach we arrived in Lumbini 12 hours later, on the border between india and nepal. We had dinner then went to our room to discover a gecko in our room which the hotel staff refused to get rid of so we decided to name him graham and become friends with him in the hope that he would leave us well alone.
