Hello everyone, I wish there was a function to give the blog a title, because this one would be called 'HEATWAVEEE!!!!'. Yeah, unfortunately it's been above 42degrees for the last 4 days, and hit a maximum of 45.1 yesterday, a day in which i went outside. Now i know its probably sounding pretty good to you right now, what with the cold, snow, rain etc ive been hearing reports of... but trust me, its BAD. So thankfully the cool breeze has blown in today along with a respite of 37degrees. Went to look at a house this morning, which was really nice, and a big double room with lots of wardrobe storage space (not that i need any), so i'll find out if ive got that tomorrow as they have 2 more people coming to look at it... it would be great, as when i walked back from there i passed quite afew nice wine shops, a cheese shop, an italian deli, a fishmongers, and lots of coffee shops. and a park. so yeah, its a nice residential area and i hope i get to live there! This is the last part of the plan, to go with my new job :) now being employed to fundraise for oxfam, which isnt the best job in the world, but its outside, and all you really have to do is talk to people, which isnt very hard. and also, if i am good at getting people to sign up i get rewarded for that rather than a normal job where you just work hard cos ur bored and it makes no difference to the pay you take home. so im keeping confident bout the work becaues afterall it is work, and it's for the time i need it and the hours i want.
Yeah so appart from that, not much new. watched an awesome tennis match on tv last night, Verdasco-Nadal, and I cant wait to see Federer lose in the final :) which we're going to the tennis place to watch, not in the arena, but a grassy bit outside, abit like henman hill. so thats sunday all taken care of with tennis, and i think i'll be glad when i dont watch any more because it has taken over my life abit in the last 2 weeks! and today i'm meeting up with Maggie who i met in sydney on the wine tour, and we're going to have a look round brunswick street and get a coffee or something. She's been job hunting too so will be good to share are woes on that front.
Right i think i'll go make some lunch as i've kinda exhausted stuff to do online now.
