I thought it might have been a while since an update, so here goes. I've pretty much done nothing of note in Melbourne yet, i took the free tram around the city centre, saw some old buildings (one was even 1860!) and walked kinda near the tennis place. Otherwise i've been spending my day as follows; get up aat 8am for free breakfast at the hostel, go to park and use museums wireless to check emails and ook for jobs, apply for jobs. Return to hostel, watch tennis on TV. Have lunch, noodles as always, watch tennis, maybe return to the park to check for more new jobs and new emails. Return to hostel and watch tennis, then neighbours (it's quite good at the moment), then home and away (just cos its on), and make dinner before sitting down for the evening to ,,, WATCH TENNIS. It's not very exciting is it? Well i bumped into some Oxfam people today, who are recruiting people to stand and make people sign up for the direct debit things. They have a starting wage which is good, after afew weeks your ment to be good enough not to need it i think. So i applied for that, and im waiting to hear about a job in a shoe shop, but i hate shoes, so i dont really like the idea of that. Still no luck on the office work, which is annoying as it by far pays the best, and is the nicest hours in terms of having a life as well. so yeah.. its not going amazingly, but i'm trying, today i'm feeling more motivated and confident that something will come up soon. Mostly because it has to otherwise im abit stuck. So until then i guess i'll just stick with the routine, and job hunt and watch tennis every day. Except for monday, cos its Australia Day, and i'm either going to the park, or going to the tennis.. undecided, but im looking forward to it either way because im going to allow myself to have a beer, and spend a day away from the computer and job websites, as its a bank holiday there isnt any way i can do anything anyway, and i want a day off. Tickets for the tennis are only $30 for a ground pass for the day, so it's quite cheap really, i feel i should go as it's here, i'm here, and i probably wont get the chance to go again. Although it looks like theyre being pretty strict on what you can take in, just to make you buy everything in there at ridiculous prices as usual. Ah well. Right, job hunt isnt progressing just yet so i think i might as well go back to the hostel and watch tennis.
