Today was to just be all about driving but we couldn't help but stop to see the Bonneville Salt Flats as we passed through Utah on I-80 plus there were two geocaches to be found! We all made our way out onto the salt flats, some with shoes and some without. I tried to engage in a simple saltball fight but no one would work with me, it was disappointing. We didn't dawdle too much after we got our picture on the flats. The site was beautiful but once you've seen and touched that's about all you can do!

The geocaches were a little disappointing as the first one was an "earth cache" which meant we found the salt flats and the other one was just a signature cache. It wasn't overly exciting but worthwhile anyway. Apparently we get extra things for each state where we find geocaches. It made it more interesting for sure. - Carrie
