The petrified forest is amazing! The petrified logs and trees look like rocks! They are many different colors from blue to red. It is a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget!!! :)

We actually spent more time there then we thought we would. It was actually fairly fascinating for all of us even though because of all of our years of geology and rock teaching from Michael's dad John we have seen tons of petrified wood. Well worth the visit! - Carrie
