Yay the air con works in this hotel so managed not to cook overnight. Still pretty shattered though so had a sleep in.
Chris thought he had spotted a laundromat on our way in so decided to see if we could find it as have a massive pile of washing despite handwashing bits here and there. Also did a search on Google Places to confirm but turns out was a car wash! Duoh! Tried to find another one indicated on google map but couldn't find anything so gave up frustrated once again. Ended up doing a bit more hand-washing in the hotel basin after all.
We decided we were a bit over seeing old places for the time being so decided a bit of retail therapy was in order.
Wandered into the main part of town. Was pretty busy being Sat. Saw the longest queue I've ever seen. Masses of people queuing for some exhibition on at one of the museums. Art exhibition I think. There were signs placed at intervals along the queue indicating wait times but they stopped at 2hrs although the queue didn't. Spanish people certainly know how to queue. There were loads of old people with canes willing to queue for 2hrs! That's tough!
I was hoping to find myself some boots on sale as all summer stuff in here but no luck so far am a bit too late I think.
Managed to find Chris a shirt. Am looking for a jacket to replace the famous brown one but no luck so far.
After shopping found somewhere for dinner. Chris had Rabo de Torro (ox tail stew) cos he's addicted to it and I went for the Gamba (prawns) see picture attached!
