Had a nice long sleep in. Then wandered in general direction of Alhambra and stopped to get some lunch (well breakfast really). Started walking to alhambra then realized it was a bit far so jumped on mini bus. Just as well as spent next 4 hrs or so wandering around the palace complex. Can certainly see why Alhambra is listed as a world heritage site, it's certainly impressive. We had tickets to see Nazaries Palace at 6pm (timed entry) and wow the detailed fret...

Before leaving Almeria visited Alcazaba. Very cool apart from the school group of kids making a racket. Checked out of hotel and drove to Granada via Guadix where saw lots of cave houses dug into to cliffs. Reminded me of the Flintstones! Arrived in Granada and checked into Hotel Dauro.
