Drove to Costa de Almeria and visited various beaches and passed through San Jose. Drove past Playa de Los Genoveses and kept going till Playa de Monsul. Although sun was out was incredibly windy so took some photos and moved on. Drove further north and stopped at Mirador (lookout), very windy! Drove to Rodalquilar but dead as a dodo so drove back to La Isleta del Moro. Still pretty dead but found one restaurant open next to the sea and had seafood paella. ...

Asked to change rooms, didn't make much difference. Went out in car and visited village called Nijar. Small white houses village with ruined bell tower at top of hill which we walked up to. Then drove to Sorbas. Village renowned for it's natural Gypsum caves (bit like Waitomo). Checked out Castillo de Santa Barbara before leaving Alicante. Good views of the coast from up there. Could see the high-rises of Bennidorm. Then drove to Almeria. Staying at Torreluz III Hotel for 3 nights. Hotel turned out to be a nightmare as they are doing some renovations and there was a constant banging, chipping and drilling.
