Left Cordoba after a bit of a sleep in and breakfast in the hotel about midday.
Bit of a drive to Malaga so wanted to break it up a bit. So first stop Antequera to check out some Dolmens or prehistoric burial tombs but it didn't quite go according to plan as Antequera sucks! Traffic was a nightmare as we arrived around 2pm ish when it seems parents are picking up kids from school and breaking for lunch so its their rush hour.
The LP didn't have a map of Antequera just gave directions to head into centre of town then follow the signs. Seemed ok to start with as found a couple of signs but then they just stopped and there were no entry and one-way streets all over the place we got so frustrated we called it a day and decided to continue straight through to Malaga.
Made it to Malaga no worries but navigating the one-way streets only to find the end has been blocked off for roadworks once again proved frustrating but made it....eventually. Chris even had to drive the car into an elevator to get down to the hotel car park.
After unloading wandered into the town for a looksey. People are a bit more dressed up here. Lots of fancy shops etc.
Had a couple of cervesas and tapas to wind down and relax then headed to the Picasso Museum which was quite interesting. Was worth going late (open till 9pm on Fri) as not many people there. Afterwards headed out for another drink or two and more tapas. Heaps of people about as Fri night but as usual we didn't have the energy to stay out late (sightseeing takes it out of you) so went against the flow of people back to our hotel.
