And then there were two! Sarah and I have just got back from the airport, dropping Nikki off for her flight back home. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed by 3 hours so its going to be a long trip back! Needless to say there were a few tearful group hugs at the airport, and we're both feeling a little deflated at the moment - it just seems strange to be down to two! It was strange when Loz went (and of course, Subway) and he'd only been with us for 2 weeks so now that Nikki's gone after 3 months its very odd indeed! Sarah and I are staying one more day in Sydney then starting our journey up the East Coast on tuesday - the start of our next adventure!! Just in case any of you were worried, we haven't been attacked by a shark or anything, its just that we went to the Sydney Aquarium today and I'm a bit bored of the same harbour photos!! The aquarium was really good - my new favourite animal is the duck-billed platypus. I can quite honestly say that this is the most ridiculous looking creature I have ever seen in my entire life, and for that same reason, very endearing!! It was quite an active little fellow, bombing around his little pool and doing lots of turns and dives for the spectators - quite the little showman!! We had a really lovely dinner last night overlooking Darling Harbour for our last night as a trio (sob!) and seeings as we're both feeling a little bit low tonight, I suspect tonight will be a calm one! We're going to go to Summer Bay beach tomorrow (Home and Away for those that don't know it) so fingers crossed for more of this wonderful sunshine!
