Firstly - Dad, you asked for new photos, so I've put a few on. I've done 2 new CDs, but I haven't got time to put the rest on at the moment - I'll do them very soon I promise!! Well - we did the Bridge Climb! It was absolutely amazing, we had the perfect weather and I think the perfect time to do it. Twilight climbs are much more expensive than day climbs, but we paid for a day climb and went on the last one before the twilight climbs started, so got the same views! We got the Opera House and the harbour in the last of the sunshine, and then we got a beautiful sunset and the city lights coming on - all in all, about perfect! Its not very scary, even though you're very high up you're very well secured, and our guide was brilliant, I felt totally at ease the whole time. It had been a very warm day, and getting into the jump suits down on the ground we were really starting to overheat - thankfully when we got up on the bridge there was a delightful breeze - it did get a bit chilly towards the end but hey, you can't have everything! Its not as strenuous as I thought - there's one point where you have to climb up 4 flights of near vertical stairs through the traffic level, but apart from that its just a slightly uphill stroll. If a 100-year-old woman can do, we definitely could!! We'd been up the Tower the night before - the views were good but nothing compared to the Bridge. In the morning before we did the climb we went over to Darling Harbour, which is absolutely gorgeous, and then over on the ferry to Manly - we went mainly for the views so didn't get to spend much time there, but its another tick in the box! Last night we went out in Kings Cross - its famed for being a good area to go out in but when we first got there we were confronted with strip joints galore, so we were a bit concerned! We did manage to find a quite nice bar for a few drinks, but overall it wasn't really our sort of place so we didn't stay long! Its hard to believe, but tonight is Nicola's last night, she catching her flight home tomorrow afternoon, so tonight we're going to treat ourselves to a nice waterside dinner (we always seem to be treating ourselves don't we?!?) and reminisce about all our crazy adventures so far! Next time I update it will just be me and Sarah!!
