I can't believe that you are coming home on Sunday! Time has definitely flown since I was there.
I've just been catching up with your exploits in China - it certainly sounds interesting. It was funny to be reminded of being on trips where you are the only person there - like in Paraty!
The journal entries have been very entertaining! - see you Sunday (with the sky dive DVD)!

Hi, Carol!
Your journal is much more interesting and fascinating than other famous adventure's books. Maybe you should think about to compile the whole set of entries on a book!. And, additionnally, it is a fantastic guide for travellers.
Josete is coming back home today. I'm impatient to see him and to know his "exotic" British experience.
Lot of kisses

Hi Girls,
Looks like you have been having a fantastic time! Caroline very proud of you dealing with the spider, we know how much you hate them! The journals make great reads as usual and looking forward to seeing the pics!

"And, finally, the river is full of spiders. Big, leggy ones that swim, walk on water and generally don't die, no matter what you do. I surprised myself by being able to brush one off Sarah, and I thought that would be it, but it was not to be. I was constantly having to fight with the little b*****ds, I tried flicking them off but they kept coming back, so in the end I resorted to frantic bashing with a flip flop - harsh, but it was either me or them! "
I have quoted part of your Sunday episode, as I think it is just a classic Caroline. I think that you are now officially grown up, and there is nothing left in life that you will not be able to cope with :0))))))
We are so enjoying your account of your trip and I hope you don't mind that I have emailed bits of your latest escapades to one or two friends that I know will enjoy it.
Take care of yourself, and keep the journal flowing. You are a natural writer. lots of love, Buffy :0)

Never mind you are on the home run .........and so are the folks they are back on UK terra firma in about an hour and so your daily/hourly contact can resume. Hopefuly they have had a great time in the US. The garden is looking good and I have just picked some of Dad's beautiful yellow alstromeria (no spell check on this!)

We are back from our trip around France and I have been looking forward to catching up with your adventures. Thoroughly enjoying the photos. I have always had New Zealand as somewhere we want to explore, and you have confirmed for us that it is a stunning place to go.
Here all is well. Jane is in wedding mode now and she is going to look like a million dollars in her outfit. Its a real cracker! Fortunately she managed to help me clean the house without breaking any of her nails . . . :0)
Has your father told you that he has decorated your bedroom for you? He has painted it all black except for the ceiling which is . . . . ooops, I have a feeling he wants this to be a surprise, so I had better not tell you any more. I know it sounds ghastly, but actually it is quite amazing and the effect is extraordinary. He is very pleased with it. I really like the curtains too. They are most unusual. John Lewis is really quite innovative these days!! :0)))))))))))))
You will be glad to know that it is quite chilly here but the weather should be fine for the wedding.
I wrote to you yesterday but it timed out before I could send it . . . so I have typed this in Word and will now endeavour to transfer it to your message board. If you dont get it, sorry :0/
Take care . . . with love from Buff :0)

How is the crisp packet? Seems like an eternity ago since we were jumping out of planes and munching on Subways in NZ. Your trip looks SWEET AS!! Enjoy the rest of your trip. Loz
p.s. Does the Israeli girl in Dunedin still qualify as the most annoying traveller met?
