I have to say we were relatively underwhelmed. As grand and culturally saturated Buenos Aires is, it is not so different to many European cities. However in fairness to BA we only spent two days here and the evenings were spent nursing Caroline´s cold so.... Also Boca juniors were not playing.

The highlight however was taking in a Tango show in Boca and wandering it´s multi-coloured corragated ironed houses and photographing Maradona´s imposter. I did ask him if he had a hand of god too, he didn´t know what I was talking about, probably just aswell, he is deemed as a god here.

The next day we spent window shopping the city centre, munching bife de lomo, the best we have had yet, and perusing Argentina´s famous dead in the city´s cemetery, in particular Evita Peron.

We will be coming back to BA, hopefully with a fit Caroline and hopefully with tickets to a Boca game. Watch this space.......
