We had been looking forward to this for months. Taganga is a cool fishing village that has also got some lovely beaches as well as a good bar scene and is now very popular with backpackers. After leaving Carpurgana at 7am we finally arrived in Cartagena at midnight. After spending 5 days in such a very basic, undeveloped beach village it was a lovely change to be in such a cool, modern, well kept colonial town.
