Wowser!! These make Niagra look like dodgy plumbing. On the border of Brazil and Argentina (and Paraguay) lies Foz do Iguacu. These cataratas magnifico are truely sublime. Words can´t describe the beauty and force nature creates here, so we´ve included a little video footage.
Leaving Brazil was sad but we looked forward to new horizons in Argentina, and after yet another night bus we landed in Iguacu, on the Brazilian side. Just a short easy hop across the border and we´re in Argie, or so we thought!. We hopped on the local bus, somehow crossed immigration whilst still on the bus, then after some dialect with the locals we realised we were in Paraguay. A short taxi ride resolved the situation although officially we are still in Brazil according to our papers, s***!
Peurto Do Iguacu is a wicked little town, the HI hostel was great and very friendly. We also had our first taste of the famous Argentine steak here and I´m guessing it tastes even better if you´ve abstained from red meat for several years, estaba buenisimo!!
Next stop Buenos Aires.
