Well great to be honest. We are in Syderz, arrived 630 this morning after some s***ty flight..and we went to our hostel..at like 730 and they sed we couldnt chek in till 11, and we were annoyed coz we are soo tired anyway we kill time by going to get sum brek and see whats near the hotel and we get back, check in and the idiotic idiot at the desk says that we are in different dormitories..WE WERE NOT HAPPY..seeing as we are eggz too..and to make matters WORSE...she gave us..bed linen..to make our own bloody beds!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never ever in my whole world thought it would be like this. anyway we eventually get put in a dorm together and trudge up the s***ty stairs with our heavy bags, carlys weighing 3 kilos more than it did when we arrived and mine weighing 5 kilos more..so we open the door..and two half naked swedish boys are sitting on the bed strumming guitars with beer bottles and old mcdonald wrappers on the floor. and it stinks of male and the room is soo shabby..i dont know how carly felt but i suddenly felt VERY sick..our first encounter with a dormitory..and i couldnt cope..well who could!? when you have just come from a 4 star luxurious abode! and to top it off they are bunk beds with no ladders to get to the top, naturally the boys got the bottom bed but as we tried to climb up the s***TY piece of brass, it sways as the bolts arent secured properly!!!!! So once we were up we had to make our own bed..and cover the old, musty thin stained mattress and a saliva stained pillow. i wanted to cry and run as FAST AS I COULD to the intercontinental..but i thought.."LAUREN GODDAMIT GET A GRIP...THIS IS LIFE" but i still couldnt cope and after realising carly felt EXACTLY the same we went into panic mode.. SUCH DEJA VOUS from when we were in Bangkok at the first hotel and we didnt want to go to chiang mai. We just left and needed to get out of there..and all we wanted was to sleep!??? its now 3pm and we havent slept for 30 hours..we are EXHAUSTED..so now we are frantically trying to get some more accomodation and completely erase this horrible dormitory...it makes me want to cry..you are probably all thinking..oh stop being ridiculous and pull yourself together..its only a room blah blah blah..but i wouldnt wish ANYONE to sleep in that room...soo yeah we have to trek round syderz and find a deez room...a private one..with an ensuite!!! Anyway we will keep u updated. x
