Got up and ready to go for my interview, had a coffee and a breakfast in the cafe downstairs and headed off to Hudsons. Didnt fancy walking too far in my new shoes so grabbed a taxi. Had my interview and we'd only been talking for abut 5 mins when she said she knew of a job starting monday that she thought i would be good for! I carried on filling in some forms and that and then she set me up on some computer tests, typing, word, excel etc. Finshed those and met another lady that said i would be starting tomorrow and 8.30am! Gutted England were playing tonight! The company was Jones Lang Lasalle and they're a property management company and the job was data enrty in the market research dept. I said ok as it was good money and only for the 2-3 weeks that i wanted to work. I had to go over the Geoffrey Nathan as they can sort out your pay so as a traveller you dont pay quite as much tax, saw a lady there who explained it all clearly and you can get the tax back anyway! Met Di in Global Gossip, went back to the hostel and got changed and got Di's other bags and called home and then went for some $5 steak at Scruffy's for lunch. Collected some post on the way to the ferry wharf, and went to the same cafe as the day before and had a coffee while we waited for the boat. Walked back to wake up and chatted to me roomies, went down to side bar to have a few drinks, walked over to the off licence so the boys could get some beers, 'a slab", (crate to you and me). Toni's friend Laura arrived from home and we stayed chatting in the room and the lads went off to watch some footy.
